My Sports Dreams
This season, we have set a goal to raise $8,000 for travel expenses and to purchase new equipment and team gear. It is important that we achieve our objective since we are working with a limited budget.
We will be using a company called My Sports Dreams, the leading provider of "product-less" fundraising for sports teams. The process takes just minutes from start to finish. MSD will prepare a set of 5 North County Football Club customized Mailers for you. At a meeting we set up, you will be required to sign 5 letters and address 5 envelopes to complete your fundraising commitment. No one will be asked to buy anything nor will you be required to sell anything.
These Mailers will provide highlights about our program to potential donors. Plus, everyone who receives a Mailer -- whether or not they respond -- gets immediate access to a large list of no-strings-attached discounts at national merchants.
Your assignment is simple. Using the suggestions below, bring to training camp a total of 5 names and addresses. I have provided you with some suggestions below to make the assignment as easy as possible. Remember, donations are voluntary and everyone can benefit from the discounts right away, even if they don't respond.
